(f)
Disconnect the two control cables DG3A (8) and DG3B (6) from generator No. 2 (7).
(g)
Remove the two nuts (22) and six washers (21) that attach the two terminal leads (20) to the starter motor (19).
(h)
Disconnect the two terminal leads (20) from the starter motor (19).
(i)
Remove the nut (5) and two washers (1) that attach the ground strap (4) to the ground stud (2) on the load gearbox (3).
(j)
Disconnect the ground strap (4) from the ground stud (2) on the load gearbox (3).
(k)
Install the two washers (1) and nut (5) on the load gearbox.
(l)
Install the caps that prevent contamination on these items: 1) The two APU control cables DM299A (24) and DM299B (23). 2) The two APU control connectors (25). 3) The two control cables DG2A (11) and DG2B (10) for the
generator No. 1. 4) The two control cables DG3A (8) and DG3B (6) for the generator No. 2.

Disconnect the APU fuel and drain lines from the drain bracket (Fig. 405):
(a)
Put the container below the drain bracket.
(b)
Disconnect the drain lines (14), (15), (16), (17) from the fittings on the drain bracket.
(c)
Disconnect the fuel inlet line (18) from the fitting on the drain bracket.
(d)
Install the protection covers on the drain lines (14), (15), (16), (17) and fittings on the drain bracket.
(e)
Install a flareless tube plug in the fuel inlet line (18).
NOTE: To increase the clearance between the APU and fuel inlet
____ line, loosen the other end of the fuel inlet line. Turn the fuel inlet line down against the firewall.

Disconnect the APU ducts (Fig. 404):
(a)
Disconnect the coupling clamp (4) that connects the pneumatic bleed duct (2) to the supply duct (5).
(b)
Remove the seal (3).
1) Discard the seal (3).

F. APU Ground Equipment Installation

(1)
Install the APU ground equipment (three fishpole hoists or APU hydraulic jackstand):
(a)
Install the three fishpole hoists (optional to the APU hydraulic jackstand) (Fig. 401): 1) Attach the left and right front yokes of the APU stand
assembly to the two mount brackets on the front of the APU.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THE THREE FISHPOLE HOISTS ARE IN A
_______ SERVICEABLE CONDITION. THE THREE CABLES OR CHAINS OF THE THREE FISHPOLE HOISTS MUST SHOW NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE. USE A FLASHLIGHT TO EXAMINE THE CONDITION OF THE KEYHOLE SLOT AREAS BEFORE THE INSTALLATION OF THE HOISTS. A DAMAGED KEYHOLE SLOT AREA CAN CAUSE INCORRECT SUPPORT OF THE APU. YOU CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: AN INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE THREE FISHPOLE
_______ HOISTS IN THE KEYHOLE SLOTS CAN CAUSE THE HOISTS TO DISENGAGE AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE APU.
CAUTION: THE TWO FORWARD HOIST ATTACH POINTS ARE THE SAME.
