(c) Install the nuts (6), bolts (8), washers (7) and a half washer (10) that attach the right inlet screen (9) to the right plenum.
NOTE: Make sure that you install a washer between each nut

and a washer under each bolt head.
Make sure that you install the half washer (10) in the right front plenum (Fig. 401).
1) Tighten the bolts with your hand.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS GRADUALLY AND EQUALLY IN
_______ SEQUENCE. BOLTS AND NUTS THAT ARE NOT TIGHTENED CORRECTLY CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO COMPOSITE BOLT HOLES.
(d) Apply primer (Type N or T) and Loctite 222 to threads of bolts (4), the threaded end rods (3) and washers (5). 1) Install and tighten the bolts (4) to 15-20 pound-inches
(1.67-2.26 newton-meters).
NOTE: Make sure a 0.250 inch (6.350 mm) minimum
____ clearance is between the inlet screen dome and the threaded end rods.
(e)
Tighten the nuts (6) to 15-20 pound-inches
(1.67-2.26 newton-meters).
(f)
Install the ignition exciter (AMM 49-41-03/401), if removed.
(g)
Connect the P6 ignition cable and electrical connector (AMM 49-41-03/401), if removed.
(h)
Install the lower right door for the air inlet.
1) Tighten the fastener studs from the lower right door for the air inlet.

Do the steps that follow to install the left inlet screen:
(a)
Put the left inlet screen (9) in the left plenum.
(b)
Lubricate the bolts threads and washers with the engine oil.
(c)
Install the nuts (6), bolts (8), washers (7) and a half washer (10) that attach the left inlet screen (9) to the left plenum.
NOTE: Make sure that you install a washer between each nut

and a washer under each bolt head.
Make sure that you install the half washer (10) on the left plenum (Fig. 401).
1) Tighten the bolts with your hand.

Install the bolts (1) and nuts (2) that attach the left and right screens.
(f)
Install and tighten the bolts (4) to 15-20 pound-inches (1.67-2.26 newton-meters).
NOTE: Make sure a 0.250 inch (6.350 mm) minimum clearance

(g)
Tighten the nuts (6) to 15-20 pound-inches
(1.67-2.26 newton-meters).
(h)
Tighten the nuts (2) to 36-40 pound-inches
(4.0-4.6 newton-meters).
(i)
Connect the P1 pressure sensor, if removed
(AMM 49-61-06/401).
(j)
Install the left inlet door with the fastener studs.
(k)
Install the P17 electrical connector on the IGV actuator, if removed (AMM 49-52-03/401).
(l)
Connect the T1/T6 sensor, if removed (AMM 49-61-05/401).
(3)
Install the APU (AMM 49-11-01/401).
