Make sure the APU control switch on the P5 panel is OFF and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

(2)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6K18 APU ALTN CONT
(b)
P83 Panel, E8 Aft Equipment Center
1) APU PRIMARY CONT
S 416-010
(3)
Open the APU access doors:
(a)
Open the latches on the APU access doors.
(b)
Open the APU access doors.
(c)
Engage the support rods for the APU access doors.
(4)
Disconnect all the drain lines from their source components.

(5) S 496-013Put a 1 cup (250 cc) container below the drain outlet for each source component. (a) Make sure the containers will not move during the APU operation.
(6) S 866-014Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers: (a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6K18 APU ALTN CONT (b) P83 Panel, E8 Aft Equipment Center 1) APU PRIMARY CONT
(7) S 866-015Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU control switch on the P5 panel.
(8) S 866-016Do this task: "APU Starting and Operation" (Ref 49-11-00/201).

Use the cylinder with graduations to measure the fluid quantity in each container.

Use the engine operation time and the fluid quantity to find the leakage rate for each component drain outlet.
