(1)
Install the aft mount link (1):
(a)
Put the link (1) between the support block for the cone bolt and the engine flange.
(b)
Attach the link (1) to the support block with the bolt (3), the bushing (2), the washers (4), and the nut (5).
(c)
Attach the link (1) to the APU lug with the bolt (6), the washers (7), and the nut (8). 1) Tighten the nut (8) to 65-75 inch-pounds (7.4-8.5
newton-meters).

(2) Remove the fishpole hoist and the sling from the APU compartment.

Close the APU access doors:
(a)
Do a visual check of the EGT bus bars:
1) Make sure the bus bars are not damaged.
2) Make sure no metal parts touch the bus bars.
3) Make sure the bus bars do not touch each other.
(b)
Disengage the support rods for the APU access doors.
(c)
Put the support rods in the clips on the inner side of the APU access doors.
(d)
Make sure the insulation covers attach correctly to the APU compartment firewall.
(e)
Close the APU access doors.
(f)
Close the latches on the APU access doors.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

P6 Main Power Supply Panel

P83 Panel, E8 Aft Equipment Center

(5) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU control switch on the P5 panel.
