 (b)  Disconnect the electrical connector DM83 from the actuator
 container.
 (c)  Install the caps on the plug and the mating connector.
 (d)  Use some cord to attach the electrical connector DM83 to the
 actuator container.
 NOTE:____ Do not use adjustable knots to attach the electrical
 connector.

 (b)  Install the two quick-release pins in the two brackets on the
 right APU compartment bulkhead.
 (c)  Lift the right access door until you can install the lanyard on
 the pin at the aft APU compartment bulkhead.
 NOTE:____ The lanyard will hold the right access door on the APU
 compartment bulkhead.
 (d)  Remove the two quick-release pins, disconnect the two hold-open
 rods and put the two hold-open rods in the two clips on the
 left access door.
 (e)  Install the two quick-release pins in the two brackets on the
 left APU compartment bulkhead.
 (f)  Make sure the insulation covers are correctly attach to the APU
 compartment firewall.
 (g)  Lift the left access door until the two APU access doors are
 approximately aligned.
 (h)  Close the two APU access doors.
 (i)  Close the six latches on the right access door.

 Replace the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags with collars on these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6G5, APU FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE 2) 6H22, APU ISO VLV AIR SUPPLY PWR 3) 6K18, APU ALTN CONT

 (b)  
P83 Aft APU Equipment Control and Circuit Breaker Panel 1) APU PRIME CONT 2) APU START

 Replace the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag on the APU control switch with an APU REMOVED tag.

 Do these steps to disconnect the APU fuel shutoff valve (Fig. 206):

 (a)  
Make sure the door locks for the landing gear doors are installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).


 NOTE: The door locks for the landing gear doors are installed
____ when you do maintenance in the wheel well areas.
 WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT DOOR LOCK PROCEDURE TO LOCK
_______ THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE LANDING GEAR DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (b)  If the landing gear door locks are not installed, do this task: Body Landing Gear Door Lock Installation (AMM 32-00-30/201).
