 (2)  Remove the fishpole hoists and the yoke:
 (a) Disconnect the fishpole hoists from the yoke and the airplane
 structure.
 (b) Disconnect the yoke from the mounting brackets.

 (3)  Close the APU access doors:
 (a) Do a visual check of the EGT bus bars:
 1) Make sure the bus bars are not damaged.
 2) Make sure no metal parts touch the bus bars.
 3) Make sure the bus bars do not touch each other.
 (b) Disengage the support rods for the APU access doors.
 (c) Put the support rods in the clips on the inner side of the APU
 access doors.
 (d) Make sure the insulation covers correctly attach to the APU
 compartment firewall.
 (e) Close the APU access doors.
 (f) Close the latches on the APU access doors.

 (4)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a) P6 Main Power Supply Panel
 1) 6K18 APU ALTN CONT
 (b) P83 Panel, E8 Aft Equipment Center
 1) APU PRIMARY CONT

 (5)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU control switch on the P5
 panel.

 APU FORWARD SUPPORT AND SHOCKMOUNT - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure gives two inspections of the APU forward support and shockmounts. Two shockmounts, two vertical supports, two axial supports, and a lateral support make up the APU forward support and shockmounts. The lateral support is on the left shockmount only.
 B.  A wear check of the APU forward support and shockmounts can only be made with the support rods removed from the airplane. To remove the support rods, the load must be removed from the forward end of the APU.
 C.  A visual inspection is given to detect loose fasteners, corrosion, and damage.
 D.  The forward support and shockmounts are located on the forward side of the APU load gearbox. Access to the aft mount assembly is through the APU access doors.
