*[1] An alternative duty cycle for the starter motor is to cool the starter motor for 60 minutes and then start again at the 1st start try.
*[2] On the 8th and subsequent start tries, cool the starter motor for 20 minutes, do a start try and if the APU does not start, cool the starter motor for one minute and do a start try again. If the APU does not start, do this step again.
*[3] On the 8th and subsequent start tries, cool the starter motor for 20 minutes between start tries until the APU starts.
