10. APU System Deactivation (With APU Removed) (Fig. 204, Fig. 205)

A. General
(1)
After you correctly prepare the airplane, you can send it out with the APU removed. To prepare the APU compartment you must put away the loose components. These components are the forward mounts, the pneumatic ducts, the electrical bundles, and the hoses.
(2)
You must put covers on the electrical and the plumbing connections and the exhaust duct opening to prevent contamination. You must disconnect the air inlet door. Open the electrical circuit breakers and disconnect the APU fuel valve and APU isolation valve to fully prepare the airplane. This task gives the steps to disconnect and connect the APU system.
