2) Make sure no metal parts touch the bus bars. 3) Make sure the bus bars do not touch each other.

Disengage the support rods for the APU access doors.
(c)
Put the support rods in the clips on the inner side of the APU access doors.
(d)
Make sure the insulation covers correctly attach to the APU compartment firewall.
(e)
Close the APU access doors.
(f)
Close the latches on the APU access doors.

APU DRAINS AND VENTS - CLEANING AND PAINTING

1. General_______
A. To clean the APU drains, the four primary drain lines must be disconnected at the drain collector bracket. The drain collector bracket is on the forward side of the load gearbox. From the drain collector bracket, four flexible lines send the fluids to the APU compartment firewall.
B. Forward of the firewall, steel tubes send the fluids to a drain mast and three overboard drain fittings. The shroud drain of the APU fuel line also goes to the drain mast. The drain for the exhaust duct is a flexible hose attached to an overboard drain fitting. It is necessary to keep these drains and vents clear.
