Attach the yoke to the APU mounting brackets.
(d)
Install the fishpole hoists into the keyhole slots in the top structure of the APU compartment.
(e)
Visually make sure the fishpole hoists are correctly installed in the keyhole slots.
(f)
Attach the fishpole hoists to the yoke.
(g)
Tighten the fishpole hoist cables or chains to hold the APU during the shockmount removal.

Remove the forward shockmount (8 or 19):
(a)
Remove the cone bolt nut (11) and the washer (10) from the cone bolt.
(b)
Remove the nuts (7), the washers (2), the bushings (6), and the bolts (1) that attach the axial and vertical supports (12 and 13) to the shockmount (8 or 19).
(c)
On the left shockmount (8): Remove the nut (9), the washers (3), the bushing (5), and the bolt (4) that attach the lateral support (14) to the shockmount (8).
(d)
Lift the shockmount (8 or 19) from the mounting bracket.
CAUTION: USE A RUBBER MALLET TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE END OF
_______ THE CONE BOLT. DAMAGE TO THE CONE BOLT THREADS CAN OCCUR.
1) If the cone bolt does not freely move apart, lightly hit the end of the bolt to loosen it.

(1)
Install the forward shockmount (8 or 19):
(a)
Put the cone bolt in the APU mounting bracket.
(b)
Attach the axial and vertical supports (12 and 13) to the shockmount (8 or 19) with the bolts (1), the washers (2), the bushings (6), and the nuts (7). 1) Tighten the nuts (7) to 50-70 inch-pounds (5.6-7.9
newton-meters).
(c)
On the left shockmount (8): Attach the lateral support (14) to the shockmount (8) with the bolt (4), the washers (3), the bushing (5), and the nut (9). 1) Tighten the nut (9) to 50-70 inch-pounds (5.6-7.9
newton-meters).
(d)
Install the cone bolt nut (11) and the washer (10).
(e)
Tighten the cone bolt nut (11) to 800-900 inch-pounds (90.4-101.7 newton-meters).
NOTE:____The cone bolt has flat sides for a wrench. Use a wrench to hold the cone bolt while you tighten the cone bolt nut.
