Disconnect the fuel supply tube from the fuel pump.
(c)
Do these steps to disconnect the fuel pressure tube (2) from the flow divider and dump valve (4): 1) Disconnect the fuel pressure tube (2) from the flow divider
and dump valve (4). 2) Remove the transfer tube (3) and two packings (1). a) Discard the two packings (1). 3) Drain the fuel from the fuel pressure tube (2) into the container.
CAUTION: BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO LET UNWANTED MATERIAL INTO THE APU
_______ FUEL SYSTEM. THE EQUIPMENT MUST BE SUPPLIED WITH THE CORRECT FILTERS NO ROUGHER THAN 10-MICRONS.
(d) Connect the oil flush cart to the fuel pump inlet.

Remove the oil flush cart:
(a)
Disconnect the oil flush cart from the fuel pump inlet.
(b)
Do these steps to connect the fuel pressure tube (2) to the flow divider and dump valve (4): 1) Lubricate the two new packings (1) with a light coat of
fuel. 2) Install the two packings (1) on the transfer tube (3). 3) Install the transfer tube (3) on the flow divider and dump
valve (4).
4) Connect the fuel pressure tube (2) to the flow divider and dump valve (4). a) Tighten the coupling nut on the fuel pressure tube (2)
to 320-350 inch-pounds (36.2-39.6 newton-meters).
(c) Do these steps to connect the fuel supply tube to the nipple on the fuel pump: 1) Apply a thin layer of anti-seize compound on the threads of
the nipple on the fuel pump and fuel supply tube. 2) Make sure there is no anti-seize compound in the nipple and fuel supply tube. 3) Connect the fuel supply tube to the nipple on the fuel pump. 4) Tighten the fuel supply tube to 675-750 inch-pounds (76.3-84.8 newton-meters). 5) Loosen the fuel supply tube and then tighten to 675-750 inch-pounds (76.3-84.8 newton-meters). 6) Loosen the fuel supply tube again and then tighten to 675-750 inch-pounds (76.3-84.8 newton-meters). 7) Disconnect the fuel supply tube from the nipple on the fuel pump. 8) Remove the anti-seize compound from the threads of the nipple and fuel supply tube with a cloth.
