Turn the APU control switch to OFF to close the inlet door.

Make sure the door goes back to the initial aligned position with no interference.

Open and close the inlet door two more times with APU control switch.

Make sure the door operates smoothly without interference.

If it is necessary to correct the tightness at the hinges and the clevis, do these steps:
(a)
Remove the air inlet door (Ref 49-15-03/401).
(b)
Examine and repair the hinges and the pins as shown in Fig. 601.
(c)
Install the air inlet door (Ref 49-15-03/401).

AIR INLET DOOR ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the actuator for the air inlet door.
B. The actuator for the air inlet door is on the air inlet duct. The rod end of the actuator is connected to the air inlet door. The terminal end of the actuator is connected to the actuator container.
C. The access cover for the manual override is on the lower side of the actuator container. The actuator container is installed on the air inlet duct.
D. You can get access to the actuator container through the APU access doors.
