If you replace the PDU, make sure there is a clearance at one of the mechanical extend stops.

If there is no clearance, electrically or pneumatically move the flap set away from the extend stops to release a possible load condition.

If you replace the alternate electric motor, energize the alternate drive motor brake to release all the load.

Push the ALTN FLAPS ARM switch on the pilot's center panel to
put the flap system in the alternate control.
Put the ALTN FLAPS EXT/RET switch to the RET position then to
the OFF position.
Push the ALTN FLAPS ARM switch to put the system in the usual
operation.
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
1) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel a) 6L21 LE FLAP ELEC CONT GRP B DRIVE 1 b) 6L22 LE FLAP ELEC CONT GRP A DRIVE 2 c) 6L23 LE FLAP ELEC CONT GRP A DRIVE 3 d) 6L24 LE FLAP ELEC CONT GRP A DRIVE 4
