(1)
Make sure that the landing gear ground locks are installed.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: "Wing Landing Gear Door Lock Installation" (Ref 32-00-30/201).

Put the speed brake lever in the FLIGHT position.

Remove the sequence mechanism (Fig. 401):
(a)
Install the rig pin SB-1 in the cable quadrant.
(b)
Remove the bolts (5), washers (6), and nuts (7) to disconnect the two control rods from the sequence mechanism.
(c)
Remove the bolt (13), washer (14), and nut (15) to disconnect the control rod (16) from the ground spoiler control valve.
(d)
Loosen the two nuts on the coupling (1) between the sequence mechanism and the cable quadrant.
(e)
Remove the four bolts (8 and 12), washers (9), and nuts (10) from the sequence mechanism.
(f)
Remove the sequence mechanism.
(g)
Remove the coupling from the quadrant shaft.
(h)
Remove the crank (2) and the control rod (16).
