(2) S 226-003Examine the variable camber flaps (Fig. 601): (a) Remove the parts to be examined. (b) Use a micrometer to measure the dimensions of these parts. (c) Compare the part dimensions to the limit dimensions. (d) If the part dimension is out of tolerance, replace the part. (e) Install all the parts removed to do the check.
(3) S 426-004Do this task: "Variable Camber Flaps Installation" (AMM 27-81-02/401).

VARIABLE CAMBER FLAPS - REPAIRS

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the task to repair the variable camber flaps.
B. The variable camber flaps are the leading edge (LE) flaps No. 1E-10 and 17-26E. It is not necessary to replace a damaged variable camber flap if the damage is not more than the permitted limits.
