Install the LEFDU Observation Window Assembly (Fig. 205):

(1)
Install the LEFDU Observation Window Assembly with the steps that follow (Fig. 205):
(a)
Apply a layer of adhesive on the tangs of reflector plate (4) that engages housing assembly (1).
(b)
Let air dry adhesive that you applied to the reflector plate (4) for at least 24 hours.
(c)
Install reflector plate (4), packing (3) and window (2) in housing assembly (1).
(d)
Remove excess of applied adhesive.
(e)
Apply a small drop of lubricant (Liqui-Moly) on the starting threads of screw (5).
(f)
Install one special washer (7) against window, then install one special washer (6) and one screw (5), at three locations in housing assembly.
(g)
Tighten the screws evenly.

_______ LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
