DRIVE SHAFT - REPAIRS

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task to repair the torque tube. There is one task to splice the torque tube into the drive shaft.
B. AIRPLANES WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC FORMING (EMF) END FITTINGS; No play is permitted on EMF end fittings. If the end fittings do become loose, replace the torque tube (AMM 27-81-05/401).
