Do this test of the spoiler position indicating system:
(a)
Turn the control wheels clockwise to stop. 1) Make sure the left spoiler position pointer aligns with the lower scale mark.
2) Make sure the right spoiler position pointer moves to the higher scale mark.
(b)
Turn the control wheels counterclockwise to stop. 1) Make sure the left spoiler position pointer moves to the higher scale mark.
2) Make sure the right spoiler position pointer moves to the lower scale mark.
(c)
Move the control wheels to the neutral position.
(d)
Make sure the two spoiler position pointers align with the lower scale marks.

(1) Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task to extend the TE flaps to the 30-unit position: "Trailing Edge Flap Extension" (AMM 27-51-00/201).
