Do this task to pressurize hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4:

NOTE: Hydraulic power is not necessary if TE flaps are extended 5

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE FLAPS
_______ BEFORE YOU MOVE THE REVERSE THRUST LEVERS. THE ENGINE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES WILL OPEN IN 1 1/2 SECONDS AND CLOSE IN 4 1/2 SECONDS WHEN YOU OPERATE THE LEVERS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do a check on the operation of the LE flaps:
(a)
Put the flap control lever in the 5 unit detent.
(b)
Put the flap control lever to the full UP detent.
(c)
Make sure the LE flaps retract fully after the TE flaps are retracted.
