Do this task: "Safety Lock Removal and Leading Edge Flap Activation" (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (6)  Make sure that the TE flaps are extended 5 unit minimum.

 WARNING:_______MAKE SURE THE FLAP AREA IS CLEAR FOR EXTENSION. IF THE LE FLAPS AND THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER DO NOT AGREE, THE LE FLAPS WILL EXTEND WHEN YOU SUPPLY PNEUMATIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (7)  
Do this task: "Supply Pneumatic Power" (AMM 36-00-00/201).

 (8)  
Retract the LE flaps electrically for approximately 15 seconds.

 (a)  
Push the ALTN FLAPS ARM switch to put the flap system in the alternate control.

 (b)  
Put the ALTN FLAPS EXT/RET switch to the RET position.

 (9)  
After 15 seconds, put the flap system in the usual operation:

 (a)  
Put the ALTN FLAPS EXT/RET in the OFF position.

 (b)  
Push the ALTN FLAPS ARM switch.

 (c)  
Make sure the LE flaps are in the pneumatic extended position.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
