 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC POWER REMOVED, THE LE AND TE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE TO OPERATE THE POWER DRIVE UNIT PNEUMATICALLY TO THE
_______ ADJUSTED POSITION. ELECTRICAL OPERATION OF THE POWER DRIVE UNIT DURING THE ADJUSTMENT TEST CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE POWER DRIVE UNIT.
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LOWER THE INBOARD FAN COWL PANELS AND INBOARD
_______ REVERSER HALVES FOR NO. 1 AND 4 ENGINES BEFORE LE FLAP OPERATION. THIS CAN PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COWLING OR THRUST REVERSER HALVES.
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE TO EXTEND THE FLAPS PNEUMATICALLY DURING THE
_______ ADJUSTMENT OF THE LE FLAPS. THE FLAPS WILL NOT EXTEND FULLY IF YOU EXTEND THE FLAPS ELECTRICALLY. THIS WILL CAUSE AN INACCURATE ADJUSTMENT TEST AND STRUCTURAL DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
 (1)  Move the flap control lever to the 5 unit detent to extend the LE flaps.

 (5)  Disconnect the drive shafts to adjust the linkage.
