1. General_______
A. There is one task in this procedure; a repair of the speed brake sequence mechanism.
(1)
The repair of the sequence mechanism has these parts:
(a)
The removal of the sequence mechanism
(b)
The removal and installation of the rivets in the shear joints
(c)
The installation of the sequence mechanism.

Do this task: "Speed Brake Sequence Mechanism Removal" (Ref 27-62-06/401).

Repair the sequence mechanism:
CAUTION:_______DO NOT MAKE THE RIVET HOLES LARGER. YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SEQUENCE MECHANISM.
(a) Remove the damaged parts of the rivets from the holes in the lever and spool.

(b)
Install the new shear rivets.
NOTE:____Install the correct rivets. See the aluminum foil marker or Fig.801 for the correct rivets.
(c)
Clean the inspection hole.
(d)
Fill the inspection hole with the corrosion preventive compound.

AUTOMATIC SPEED BRAKE ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the automatic speed brake actuator.
(1)
The removal procedure has these parts:
(a)
The removal of the ceiling panel
(b)
The removal of the electrical connector
(c)
The removal of the actuator.
(2)
The installation procedure has these parts:
