Remove the Krueger flap (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the bolts (4 and 11) that attach the actuator links (9) to the rotary actuators (5).

Remove the bonding jumpers (2) on the hinges.
(c)
Hold the flap and remove the hinge bolts (19).
NOTE: The flap weighs approximately 80 pounds.

(d)
Remove the flap (1) from the airplane.
(e)
Remove the bushings (18) from the structural hinge fittings.
