 the DOWN position and moves to the full UP position.
 (f) Put the reverse thrust lever No. 2 in the FORWARD IDLE
 position.
 (g) Put the speed brake lever in the DOWN position.
 (h) Put the reverse thrust lever No. 4 in the reverse thrust
 position.
 (i) Make sure the speed brake lever is automatically released from
 the DOWN position and moves to the full UP position.
 (j) Put the reverse thrust lever No. 4 in the FORWARD IDLE
 position.
 (k) Put the speed brake lever in the DOWN position.

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the automatic speed brake arm switch S217.
 (1)  
The removal procedure has these parts:

 (a)  
The retraction of the automatic speed brake actuator

 (b)  
The removal of the ceiling panel

 (c)  
The removal of the wires from the switch

 (d)  
The removal of the switch

 (2)  
The installation procedure has these parts:

 (a)  
The installation of the switch

 (b)  
The installation of the wires on the switch

 (c)  
An adjustment of the switch

 (d)  
An operational test of the switch

 (e)  
The installation of the ceiling panel.

 B.  
The WDM and SSM refer to the automatic speed brake arm switch as the Spoiler Handle Position Switch S217.
