Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P414, Power Distribution Center - Left 1) 414D8, CAPT PWR SEAT
(b)
P415, Power Distribution Center - Right 1) 415H32, F/O POWER SEAT

Remove the left cover assembly from the control stand.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7G6, SPEED BRAKE AUTO CONT

Remove the switch:
(a)
Disconnect the electrical wires from the terminal block T715.
(b)
Remove the screws that attach the switch.
(c)
Remove the switch from the airplane.

(b) Connect the electrical wires to the terminal block T715.

Adjust the actuating lever:
(a)
Put all thrust levers in the IDLE STOP position with the reverse thrust levers down.
(b)
Adjust the linkage adjustment rod until the clearance between the bottom of the actuating lever and the detent plate is 0.01-0.02 inch (.25-.51 mm) (Detail B).
(c)
Move the reverse thrust lever No. 2 to the full reverse thrust position.
(d)
Do a check on the operation of the speed brake lever.
