Do this task: "Extended Leading Edge Flap Deactivation and Safety Lock Installation" (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

E. Remove the Directional Control Servomotor Assembly

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector P101 (44).

(2) Disconnect these primary (pneumatic) drive power electrical
connectors (13):
(a) DM876 and DM885 (PDU No. 1)
(b) DM878 and DM883 (PDU No. 2)
(c) DM879 and DM882 (PDU No. 3)
(d) DM880 and DM881 (PDU No. 4)

(3) Disconnect these alternate (electrical) drive power connectors (33):
(a) DM876B and DM885B (PDU No. 1)
(b) DM878B and DM883B (PDU No. 2)
(c) DM879B and DM882B (PDU No. 3)
(d) DM880B and DM881B (PDU No. 4)

(4) Remove the directional control servomotor assembly (Fig. 201):
NOTE: A ball-end allen wrench will make the removal and
____ installation of the screws easier and faster.
(a) Remove the wire bundle clips (45).
(b) Remove the connector mounting bracket (46).
(c) Remove the four screws (42) from the servomotor (24).
(d) Remove the servomotor assembly (24).
(e) Put a cover on the opening in the drive unit.
