3. EFIS Cooling System Performance Test____________________________________
A. General
(1)
To examine the performance of the EFIS cooling system, you must measure the system pressure in some given locations. Then you must correct these values for ambient temperature and pressure, and then compare the corrected pressures to a minimum acceptable pressure for each test port location.
(2)
Fig. 501 shows the locations of the test ports.
(3)
Fig. 502 shows how to use the test equipment. Fig. 503 is the graph for the correction of the gage pressure indications for ambient pressure and temperature.
(4)
Fig. 504 shows the corrected minimum acceptable pressures for the system.
B. Special Tools and Equipment
(1) C21001-19 Equipment Cooling System Performance Test Set (recommended)
