(11) Do a test of the air cleaner purge shutoff valve relays:
NOTE: This procedure applies only if the air cleaner system is
____
installed on the airplane.
(a)
Supply pneumatic power to the airplane (Ref 36-05-00/201).
NOTE:____The APU can not be used as the pneumatic source. Use a ground cart or an engine for the pneumatic source.
(b)
Make sure the APU BLEED switch is in the OFF position.
(c)
Make sure these valves are de-energized: 1) V100 Lef Air Cleaner Purge Shutoff Valve (L PURGE VALVE). 2) V99 Right Air Cleaner Purge Shutoff Valve (R PURGE VALVE).
NOTE: The visual position indicators show the status of
____
the purge valves.
(d)
Set the L PACK switch to the AUTO position.
1) Make sure the L PURGE VALVE is energized.
2) Make sure the R PURGE VALVE is not energized.
(e)
Set the L PACK switch to the OFF position.
(f)
Set the R PACK switch to the AUTO position.
1) Make sure the R PURGE VALVE is energized.
2) Make sure the L PURGE VALVE is not energized.

(g) Set the L PACK switch to the AUTO position.
1) Make sure the L PURGE VALVE is energized.
2) Make sure the R PURGE VALVE is energized.
(h) Make sure the flaps are in the FLAPS UP position.
(i) Push in and hold the AIR SENSING TEST switch on the E11 Landing
Gear Logic Shelf.
1) Make sure the L PURGE VALVE is not energized.
2) Make sure the R PURGE VALVE is not energized.
(j) Release the AIR SENSING TEST switch on the E11 Landing Gear
Logic Shelf.
1) Make sure the L PURGE VALVE is energized.
2) Make sure the R PURGE VALVE is energized.
CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THE APU IS NOT ON FOR THE REMAINING PART OR THIS
TEST. DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(k) Set the APU BLEED switch to the ON position.
1) Make sure the L PURGE VALVE is not energized.
2) Make sure the R PURGE VALVE is not energized.

(12) Do a test of the left engine start sense relays:
NOTE: This procedure only applies if the engine start sense relay
____ system is installed on the airplane.
(a)
Set these switches to the OFF position: 1) APU BLEED 2) 1 BLEED 3) 2 BLEED
(b)
Open these access panels: 1) 5739 - Left Thrust Reverser Cowl Assembly 2) 5839 - Right Thrust Reverser Cowl Assembly
(c)
Disconnect the D3064 electrical connector from the Engine 1 Bleed Air Regulator.
(d)
Install a DC Voltmeter, set to measure 28 Volts DC, between pin 5(+) and pin 6(-). 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows less than 10 Volts DC.
(e)
Set the Engine 1 BLEED switch to the ON position. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows between 20 and 29 Volts DC.
(f)
Manually turn the Engine 1 pneumatic start valve 30 degrees clockwise. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows less than 10 Volts DC.
(g)
Remove the Voltmeter lead from pin 5.

(h)
Connect the Voltmeter positive lead to pin 7. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows between 20 and 29 Volts DC.
(i)
Release the pneumatic start valve. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows less than 10 Volts DC.
(j)
Connect the D3064 electrical connector on the Engine 1 Bleed Air Regulator.
(k)
Set the Engine 1 BLEED switch to the OFF position.
