Make sure the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward COLD.

Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch clockwise.

Make sure the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward HOT.

Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch counterclockwise until the indicator needle stays at the middle position.

Do a test of the duct limit sensor, T419:
(a)
Remove the duct limit sensor but do not disconnect its electrical connector.
(b)
Use the heat source equipment to increase the temperature of the duct limit sensor to 140°F (60°C).
(c)
Make sure the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves to COLD.
(d)
Let the duct limit sensor become cool.
(e)
Install the duct limit sensor.

Push the CONT CABIN - DUCT OVERHEAT light momentarily and make sure the light comes on and then goes off.

Do the procedure to put the left air mix valve in its middle position.

Do a test of the duct overheat switch, S11:
(a) Remove the duct overheat switch but do not disconnect the electrical wires.
CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE TEMPERATURE OF THE OVERHEAT SWITCH PROBE
_______ GET HOTTER THAN 200 DEGREES F (93 DEGREES C). THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE OVERHEAT SWITCH.
(b)
Use the heat source equipment to increase the temperature of the duct overheat switch to 190|10°F (88|5°C).
(c)
Make sure these lights come on:
1) CONT CABIN - DUCT OVERHEAT light
2) MASTER CAUTION and AIR COND annunciator lights
(d)
Make sure the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves to COLD.

Connect the electrical connector, D486, to the left pack valve.

Move the L PACK switch to OFF.
