(1) Put the antiseize compound on the threads of the switch.

CAUTION:_______USE TWO WRENCHES WHEN YOU INSTALL THE SWITCH IN THE BOSS. IF YOU DO NOT USE TWO WRENCHES, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DUCT. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PUT THE ANTISEIZE COMPOUND ON THE MATING SURFACES OF THE SWITCH AND THE BOSS.
(2) Install the switch into the duct boss with a new O-ring.
(a) Tighten the switch.

HEAT EXCHANGERS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task removes the primary or secondary heat exchanger. The second task installs the primary or secondary heat exchanger.
B. Each pack has a primary and secondary heat exchanger. The heat exchangers are installed between two sections of the ram air duct in the equipment bay for the air conditioning (Fig. 401). The procedures for the removal and installation of the heat exchangers are almost the same. The procedure that follows is for the primary or the secondary heat exchanger. Differences in the procedure for the primary or secondary heat exchanger are given in the applicable step.
