Do a check of the rigging for the left and right deflector doors.

 (a)  
Make sure that the track rollers behind the deflector doors are not more than 0.60 inch from the stops.

 (b)  
If the track rollers are more than 0.60 inch from the stops, adjust the adjustable link until the distance is less than 0.60 inch.

 Make sure that the RAM DOOR FULL OPEN lights stay on. S 865-096

 Fully retract the wing flaps with electrical or hydraulic power.


 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT WHEN RETRACTING THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS PERSONS
 AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING EDGE SLATS AND THE
 TRAILING EDGE FLAPS.  DURING RETRACTION, THE TRAILING EDGE
 FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY.  THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND
 DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

 (a)  Make sure that the left and right inlet modulation panels and exhaust louvers close.
 NOTE: Airplanes after incorporation of SB 21-1123 do not have
____ exhaust louvers.
 1)  BEJ 061, 062 PRE-SB 21-1102; If the modulation panels and exhaust louvers did not close, make sure that the mach trim switch opened.
 NOTE: The flaps must be fully retracted to open the mach
____ trim switch.
 2)  BEJ 061, 062 PRE-SB 21-1102; If the mach trim switch did not open, do a check of the system for the trailing edge flaps (Ref Chapter 27).
 3)  BEJ 061, 062 POST-SB 21-1102; BEJ 101-999; If the modulation panels and exhaust louvers did not close, make sure that the mach trim switch (left side) and the stall warn switch (right side) opened.
 NOTE: The flaps must be fully retracted to open the
____ mach trim switch (left side) and the stall warn switch (right side).
 4)  BEJ 061, 062 POST-SB 21-1102; BEJ 101-999; If the mach trim switch (left side) or the stall warn switch (right side) did not open, do a check of the system for the trailing edge flaps (Ref Chapter 27).

 Do a test of the 230°F control sensor using the Controlled Heat Source:

Remove the 230°F control sensor T438 (left side) and T439 (right side) for the ram air system from the compressor discharge duct of the air cycle machines (AMM 21-52-12/401).
