C. Procedure

(1) Install the check valve:
(a)
Remove the duct covers.
(b)
Install the check valve.
NOTE: The flow arrow must point forward.

(c)
Move the clamps onto the check valve.
(d)
Tighten the clamps.
D. Do a Leakage Check of the Check Valve

(1)
Supply pneumatic power to the airplane (AMM 36-05-00/201).
(2)
Set the applicable PACK switch to the AUTO position.

(3)
Examine the check valve for leakage:
S 864-009
(a) A small leak is satisfactory.

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Close the applicable access panel.

Set the applicable PACK switch to the OFF position.

Remove the pneumatic power from the airplane if it is no longer necessary (AMM 36-05-00/201).

Remove the electrical power from the airplane if it is no longer necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) On the main power distribution panel, P6: 1) 6A3, TEMP CONTROL AUTOMATIC R 2) 6A4, TEMP CONTROL AUTOMATIC L 3) 6C1, AIR CONDITIONING VALVES TURBOFAN R 4) 6C2, AIR CONDITIONING VALVES TURBOFAN L 5) 6C3, AIR CONDITIONING VALVES PACK R 6) 6C4, AIR CONDITIONING VALVES PACK L 7) 6D4, AIR COND OVERHEAT 8) 6E1, AIR CONDITIONING RAM MOD R 9) 6E2, AIR CONDITIONING RAM MOD L 10) 6E3, AIR COND RAM MOD CONTROL R 11) 6E4, AIR COND RAM MOD CONTROL L

(2) Get access to the air conditioning accessory unit:
(a)
Open the access door, 1201L, for the electronic compartment.
(b)
Go to the E3-2 shelf.
