 C.  Prepare to Adjust the Control Cables
 S 015-015
 (1)  
Open the bay doors to the air conditioning equipment.

 (2)  
Open the access panel to the inlet modulation quadrant.

 S 015-002

 (3)  
Open the access panel to the ram air inlet duct, actuator and torque shaft quadrant.

 (4)
Make sure the actuator is in the fully retracted position.

 (5)  
Open the applicable circuit breakers on the P6 panel and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 D. Adjust the Control Cables
 S 825-006
 (1)  Do the steps that follow to adjust the control cables:
 (a)  Install the 5/16 inch rigging pin in the torque shaft quadrant (Fig. 501, Sheet 3).
 NOTE: Make sure that the torque shaft quadrant is pinned
____ in the full (ground) open position.
 (b)  Install the 5/16 inch rigging pin in the inlet modulation panel quadrant (Fig. 501, Sheet 2).
 NOTE: Use the shop aid if necessary to help with the
____ rigging pin installation (Fig. 501, Sheet 2). Install the shop aid in the inboard end of the main inlet modulation door shaft. The shop aid will engage the quadrant attach pin. Attach a wrench to the shop aid to rotate the inlet shaft.
 (c)  
AIRPLANES WITH RAM AIR EXHAUST LOUVERS (PRE-SB 21-1123); Install the 1/4 inch rigging pin into the ram air exhaust louver assembly (Fig. 501, Sheet 2).

 (d)  
Adjust the cables:

 NOTE: Rig the cables with a tensiometer to a load that
____ most closely agrees with the ambient temperature. Refer to the tension chart (Fig. 501, Sheet 4).
 (e)  AIRPLANES WITH RAM AIR EXHAUST LOUVERS
 (PRE-SB 21-1123);
 Remove the three rigging pins.

 NOTE: You should be able to remove the rigging pins
____
 easily.

 (f)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT RAM AIR EXHAUST LOUVERS (POST-SB 21-1123); Remove the two rigging pins.
 NOTE: You should be able to remove the rigging pins

 easily.

 1)  If the rigging pins are not easy to remove, make sure that the cable tension remains within the permitted tolerances of the tension chart after the pins are removed.

 (2)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close the applicable circuit breakers:
