 CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE TEMPERATURE OF THE OVERHEAT SWITCH_______
 ú  PROBE GET HOTTER THAN 200 DEGREES F (93 DEGREES C).
 ú  THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE OVERHEAT SWITCH.
 ú
 2) Apply the controlled heat source to the 190°F (88°C) duct
 overheat switch.
 3) Make sure these lights come on at approximately 190°F
 (88°C):
 a) DUCT OVERHEAT
 b) MASTER CAUTION
 c) AIR COND
 4) Remove the heat source.
 5) Wait until the probe is cool, then push the TRIP RESET
 switch.
 6) Make sure the DUCT OVERHEAT light and all the MASTER
 CAUTION lights go off.
 (g)  Do a test of the 250°F (121°C) duct overheat switch:
 1) Push the applicable PACK TRIP OFF light on the P5-10 air
 conditioning control module.
 ú 
        ú
 CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE TEMPERATURE OF THE OVERHEAT SWITCH_______
 ú  PROBE GET HOTTER THAN 260 DEGREES F (127 DEGREES C).
 ú  THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE OVERHEAT SWITCH.
 ú
 2) Apply the controlled heat source to the 250°F (121°C) duct
 overheat switch.
 3) Make sure these lights come on at approximately 250°F
 (121°C):
 a) PACK TRIP OFF
 b) MASTER CAUTION
 c) AIR COND
 4) Remove the heat source.
 5) Wait until the probe is cool, then push the TRIP RESET
 switch.
 6) Make sure the PACK TRIP OFF light and all the MASTER
 CAUTION lights go off.
 (h)  Connect the electrical connector, D486, to the left pack valve.
 (i)  Remove the electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 CONTROL CABIN TEMPERATURE SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  The temperature sensor for the control cabin is in a box above the inlet grille in the control cabin ceiling.
 B.  The inlet grille is immediately forward of the control cabin door and approximately six inches from the center on the left side.

 2.  Remove the Temperature Sensor for the Control Cabin (Fig. 401)___________________________________________________

 B.  Prepare for the Removal

 (1)  Set these switches on the P5-10 air conditioning panel to the OFF position and attach DO-NOT-OPERATE identifiers:
 (a)  
L PACK

 (b)  
R PACK

 (c)  
RECIRC FAN

 (2)  Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  P6-4 Panel
 1) 6A4, TEMP CONTROL, AUTOMATIC, L

 C.  Remove the Sensor

 (1)  
Remove the screws that attach the grille and the filter to the sensor box.
