Push in and release the TRIP RESET switch. 1) Make sure the conditions above stay unchanged.
(e)
Remove the jumper from the D528 electrical connector.
(f)
Connect the D528 electrical connector to the Right Engine Bleed Air Overheat switch.
(g)
Push in and release the TRIP RESET switch.
1) Make sure these lights go OFF: a) R BLEED TRIP OFF (P5-10 Panel) b) AIR COND (P7 Glareshield)
(h)
Set the Engine 2 BLEED switch to the OFF position. 1) Make sure the DUAL BLEED light goes OFF.
(i)
Set the APU BLEED switch to the OFF position.
E. Put The Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition

Install and/or close the access panels which you opened for this test.

Remove the pneumatic power from the airplane if it is not necessary (Ref 36-05-00/201).

Remove the electrical power from the airplane if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

AIR CYCLE MACHINE (ACM) - UNIT SERVICING

1. General_______
A. This task replaces the oil in the air cycle machine. Refer to 12-13-51/301, Air Cycle Machine, to make sure the oil level is correct.

2. Air Cycle Machine Oil Replacement (Fig. 301)_________________________________
A. Standard Tools and Equipment
(1) Container for unwanted material - capacity of 1 gallon
B. Consumable Materials
(1) Lubricant - Oil, as approved by Garrett Corporation, 9851-9951 Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90009, or one these below (Ref 20-30-21/201):

(1)
Open the access doors to the air conditioning bay.

(2)
Do these steps to replace the oil for the air cycle machine:
(a)
Hold the container below the drain plug on the bottom of the oil sump.
(b)
Remove the drain plug and let the oil drain fully.
(c)
Remove the chip detector plug from the drain plug.

CAUTION: THE CHIP DETECTOR PLUG SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY METAL PARTICLES
_______ ON IT. THE PRESENCE OF METAL PARTICLES IS A SIGN OF WEAR IN THE AIR CYCLE MACHINE AND OF POSSIBLE ACM FAILURE.
(d)
Inspect the chip detector plug for metal particles.
(e)
Clean the chip detector plug and install it with a new O-ring into the drain plug.
(f)
Install the drain plug with a new O-ring in the bottom of the oil sump.
(g)
Fill the air cycle machine with oil until the oil level in the sight glass is three-fourths full.
NOTE: The oil sump holds approximately 300 cubic centimeters
____
of oil.
