Move the AIR TEMP switch to PASS CABIN, on the P5-17 panel.

Monitor the temperature indicator, on the P5-17 panel, and make sure that the cabin temperature is less than 75°F (24°C).

If the cabin temperature is more than 75°F (24°C), do these steps to decrease the cabin temperature:

 (a)  
Move the R PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel.

 (b)  
Move the PASS CABIN temperature selector switch to MANUAL COOL, on the P5-17 panel, until the cabin temperature is less than 75°F (24°C).

 

 (4)  
Move the R PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel.

 (5)  
Move the AIR TEMP switch to SUPPLY DUCT.

Push the PASS CABIN - DUCT OVERHEAT light, on the P5-17 panel, and the right PACK TRIP OFF light, on the P5-10 panel.

Move the PASS CABIN temperature selector switch to AUTO WARM, on the P5-17 panel while you monitor the temperature indicator.

Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch intermittently to MANUAL WARM while you do these steps:


 NOTE: This will cause the air mix valve to move slowly toward the

 hot position.

 (a)  
Monitor these indicators and lights: 1) Temperature indicator, on the P5-17 panel 2) CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator, on the P5-17 panel 3) CONT CABIN - DUCT OVERHEAT light, on the P5-17 panel 4) Left PACK TRIP OFF light, on the P5-10 panel 5) MASTER CAUTION lights, on the P7 panel

 (b)  
Make sure that the temperature indication is at 86°F (30°C) when these conditions occur: 1) The left PACK TRIP OFF light stays off. 2) The MASTER CAUTION lights come on.

 3) The CONT CABIN - DUCT OVERHEAT light comes on. 4) The indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves to the full COLD position.
 (c)  
Let the supply duct temperature decrease below 77°F (25°C).

 (d)  
Push the TRIP RESET switch, on the P5-10 panel.

 (e)  
Make sure that the MASTER CAUTION lights go off.

 (5) Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch to MANUAL WARM.
