 (i)  3) Put a fillet seal with the sealant (BMS 5-95, Class B-2) all around the bonding jumper connection.Connect the electrical connector to the blower.

 (5)  ON EFIS AIRPLANES; Do a test of the blower:
 (a) (b)  For the main blower, do these steps: 1) Put the EQUIP COOLING EXHAUST switch on the P5 panel to the NORMAL position. 2) Make sure the main blower operates and the EQUIP COOLING EXHAUST OFF light stays OFF.For the alternate blower, do these steps: 1) Put the EQUIP COOLING EXHAUST switch on the P5 panel to the ALTERNATE position. 2) Make sure the alternate blower operates and the EQUIP COOLING EXHAUST OFF light stays OFF.

 (6)  ON NON EFIS AIRPLANES; Do a test of the blower:
 (a) (b)  For the main blower, do these steps: 1) Put the EQUIP COOLING switch on the P5 panel in the NORMAL position. 2) Make sure the main blower operates and the EQUIP COOLING light stays OFF.For the alternate blower, do these steps: 1) Put the EQUIP COOLING switch on the P5 panel in the ALTERNATE position.

Remove electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Remove the center panel from the forward bulkhead in the forward cargo compartment.

Remove the floor panel above the flow control valve.

 D. Remove the Flow Control Valve

 (1)  
Remove the V-band clamps at both ends of the valve.

 (2)
Remove the tape that seals the movable flange and the duct.

 (3)  
Move the movable flange away from the valve.

 (4)
Remove the clamp that attaches the valve to the structure.

 (5)  
Remove the valve.

 (6)
Remove the gaskets and keep them for the valve installation.
