Air Mix Valve Position Indicator Test

(1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) 6D3, POS IND

(2)
Supply electrical power (24-22-00/201).

(3)
Put the L PACK and the R PACK switches on the temperature control module to AUTO.

(4)
Do these steps to do a test of the air mix valve position indicator for the control cabin:
(a)
Put the CONT CABIN temperature selector on the temperature control module on the P5 overhead panel to the OFF (6 o'clock) position.
(b)
Open the left ECS bay access door.
(c)
Remove electrical connector D486 from the left pack flow control and shutoff valve.

Put the CONT CABIN temperature selector to the MANUAL WARM position. 1) Make sure the CONT CABIN AIR MIX VALVE position indicator
on the temperature control module goes to the HOT position.
(e)
Put the CONT CABIN temperature selector to the MANUAL COOL position. 1) Make sure the CONT CABIN AIR MIX VALVE position indicator
COOL position.

(5) Do these steps to do a test of the air mix valve position indicator for the passenger cabin:
(a)
Put the PASS CABIN temperature selector on the temperature control module on the P5 overhead panel to the OFF (6 o'clock) position.
(b)
Open the right ECS bay access door.
(c)
Remove electrical connector D490 from the right pack flow control and shutoff valve.
(d)
Put the PASS CABIN temperature selector to the MANUAL WARM position. 1) Make sure the PASS CABIN AIR MIX VALVE position indicator
on the temperature control module goes to the HOT position.
(e)
Put the PASS CABIN temperature selector to the MANUAL COOL position. 1) Make sure the PASS CABIN AIR MIX VALVE position indicator
COOL position.
E. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

(1) Do these steps if you installed the air mix valve position indicator for the control cabin:
(a)
Put the CONT CABIN temperature selector to the AUTO (12 o'clock) position.
(b)
Install connector D486 on the left pack flow control and shuttoff valve
(c)
Close the left ECS bay access door.

(2) Do these steps if you installed the air mix valve position indicator for the passenger cabin:
(a)
Put the PASS CABIN temperature selector to the AUTO (12 o'clock) position.
(b)
Install connector D490 on the right pack flow control and shuttoff valve
(c)
Close the right ECS bay access door.
