Install the screws and washers in the temperature controller.

C. Ram Air Temperature Controller Installation Test

(1) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) On the main power distribution panel, P6:
1) 6E1 AIR COND RAM MOD RIGHT
2) 6E1 AIR COND RAM MOD LEFT

(2) Do the steps that follow to test the ram air temperature controller:
(a)
Make sure the applicable air-conditioning pack is off for more than 30 minutes.
(b)
Extend the flaps (AMM 27-51-00/001).
(c)
Open the ECS bay doors to get access to the flow control and shutoff valve.
(d)
Disconnect the D486 (D490) connector from the left (right) flow control and shutoff valve.
(e)
Push and hold the the ground sensing test switch to put the airplane in the air mode.
(f)
Retract the flaps (AMM 27-51-00/001). 1) Make sure the RAM DOOR FULL OPEN light is off. 2) Disconnect the D966 (D968) from the left (right) ram air
door actuator.
3) AIRPLANES WITH RAM AIR EXHAUST LOUVERS (PRE-SB 21-1123); Make sure the dimensions between the exhaust louvers for the ram air exhaust is 0.65 to 1.00 inches (Fig. 402).
4) Reconnect the D966 (D968) connector to the left (right) ram air door actuator.
(g)
Disconnect the D1288 (D1290) connector from the left (right) ram air temperature sensor. 1) Install a jumper between pins 1 and 2 on the connector. 2) Make sure the RAM AIR FULL OPEN light on the P5 panel comes
on. 3) Remove the jumper from the D1288 (D1290) connector.
(h)
Reconnect the D1288 (D1290) connector to the left (right) ram air temperature sensor. 1) AIRPLANES WITH RAM AIR EXHAUST LOUVERS
(PRE-SB 21-1123);
Make sure the ram air inlet door and exhaust louvers move
