(1)
Put a small quantity of the antiseize compound on the threads of the 35° temperature sensor.

Install the 35°F temperature sensor in the water separator.
(a) Install the lockwire.

(3)
Put the water separator in the support bracket with the flow arrow pointed forward.

Install but do not tighten the support clamp.

(5)
Turn the water separator to align the electrical connector, the extractor boss, and the drain boss.

Install but do not tighten the duct clamps.

(7)
Tighten the support bracket clamp of the water separator.

Tighten the duct clamps.

(9)
Install the overboard drain seal and the clamp to the drain boss.Do a Test of the Water Separator.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(2)
Pressurize the pneumatic system (Ref 36-05-00/201).

(3) Operate the air conditioning system with the mixture valve at full cold and examine the separator for air leakage at the clamps.
NOTE: A small leak is OK.
You must repair a large leak

(4) Make sure there is a vacuum at the water injector line.
(a) Put your hand against the line and feel for a vacuum.

Make sure that the 35°F control valve position indicator is at full open.

Install ther electrical connector for the temperature sensor.

Make sure these conditions occur:
(a)
The 35°F valve first goes to the closed position.
(b)
The valve moves to control the flow.

Remove the pneumatic power if it is not necessary
(Ref. 36-05-00/201).

Put the pack switches to OFF.

(10)
Connect the injector line for the water spray to the extractor boss with a new O-ring.
F. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

Close the equipment bay door for the air conditioning.

Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary
