 (8)  Make sure there is no noise from the ground crew call horn.

 (9)  Examine the left EHSI display.
 (a) Make sure these fault warnings are not in the message area of
 the left EHSI.
 1) EXCESS DATA
 2) AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS SYMBOL GENERATOR (SG) SOFTWARE PART
 NUMBERS 995-0491-011 THROUGH -999;
 WXR DSPLY
 NOTE: The EFIS SG software part number may be determined____
 by performing an EFIS Symbol Generator Test
 (AMM 34-22-41/401).

 (10) Examine the right EHSI.
 (a)  Make sure these fault warnings are not in the message area of the right EHSI: 1) EXCESS DATA

 (11) Open this circuit breaker on the P18-3 panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  NORMAL SUPPLY FAN POWER

 (12) Make sure you get these conditions in 30 seconds or less:
 (a)  
The EQUIPMENT COOLING SUPPLY OFF light on the P5 panel comes ON.

 (b)  
The MASTER CAUTION lights on the P7 glare shield come ON (Two locations).

 (c)  
The OVERHEAD light on the P7 Glare Shield comes ON.

 (d)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS SG SOFTWARE PART NUMBERS 995-0491-011 THROUGH -999; The WXR DSPLY fault warning message comes ON in the message area of the right EHSI.

 (e)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS SG SOFTWARE PART NUMBERS 995-0491-011 THROUGH -999; The WXR DSPLY fault warning message comes ON in the message area of the left EHSI.

 (f)  
The ground crew call horn in the nose landing gear wheel well operates.

 S 865-040
 (13) Push in and release both MASTER CAUTION lights.
 (a)  Make sure the two MASTER CAUTION lights and the OVERHEAD light on the P7 glare shield go OFF.

 (14) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
 (a)  NORMAL SUPPLY FAN POWER
 S 715-042
 (15) Make sure you get these conditions in 30 seconds or less:
 (a)  
The EQUIPMENT COOLING SUPPLY OFF light on the P5 panel goes OFF.

 (b)  
The OVERHEAD light on the P7 Glare Shield goes OFF.

 (c)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS SG SOFTWARE PART NUMBERS 995-0491-011 THROUGH -999; The WXR DSPLY fault warning message goes OFF in the message area of the right EHSI.

 (d)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS SG SOFTWARE PART NUMBERS 995-0491-011 THROUGH -999; The WXR DSPLY fault warning message goes OFF in the message area of the left EHSI.

 (e)  
The ground crew call horn in the nose landing gear wheel goes off.

 (16) Set the EQUIP COOLING SUPPLY switch on the P5 panel to ALTERNATE.
 (a)  
Make sure the alternate fan operates.

 (b)  
Make sure all warning lights remain OFF.

 1)  If the EQUIP COOLING SUPPLY OFF, MASTER CAUTION and OVERHEAD lights come on when you switch to the ALTERNATE position, depress and release one of the MASTER CAUTION lights to reset the lights.
 2)  Wait until the EQUIP COOLING SUPPLY OFF light goes off before you do the next step.

 (17) Open this circuit breaker on the P18-3 panel, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  ALTERNATE SUPPLY FAN POWER
