(a)
Move the L PACK switch on the P5-10 air conditioning panel to AUTO.
(b)
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector to MANUAL WARM.
(c)
Make sure the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward HOT.
(d)
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector to MANUAL COOL.
(e)
Make sure the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward COLD.
(f)
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector to MANUAL OFF.
(g)
Move the L PACK switch to OFF.

(a)
Move the R PACK switch on the P5-10 air conditioning panel to AUTO.

1. General_______
A. There are two air mix valves, one for each cooling system. The mix valves are in the air conditioning bay. The installation and the removal of the two mix valves are the same.

Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system (Ref 36-05-00/201).

Lower the bay doors for the air conditioning equipment.

Open these circuit breakers on the P6-4 panel and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
TEMP CONTROL - AUTOMATIC-R (passenger cabin)
(b)
TEMP CONTROL - AUTOMATIC-L (control cabin)
(c)
TEMP CONTROL - MAN
(d)
AIR CONDITIONING - POS IND
(4)
Remove the bonding jumper from the mix valve.
(5)
Remove the electrical connector for the position transmitter.
(6)
Remove the electrical connector for the valve actuator.
(7)
Loosen the V-clamps.
(8)
Move the V-clamps to the adjacent ducts.
