Examine the check valve that is downstream of the fan:
(a)
Make sure that the flapper for the check valve does not catch on the 2-inch duct that is downstream.
(b)
Replace the check valve if the flapper catches on the 2-inch duct (Ref 21-58-91/201).

Attach the fan to the flexible couplings on the fan support.

Make sure the electrical connector for the fan is on the top side of the fan.

Install the clamp which attaches the fan to the fan support.

Tighten the clamp.

Install the clamps which attach the flexible couplings to the fan.

Tighten the clamps to 18-22 pound-inches.

Install the electrical connector to the fan.

(2) S 864-015Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(3) S 864-017Put the EQUIP COOLING SUPPLY switch to NORMAL or ALTERNATE on the P5 overhead panel for the applicable fan.
(4) S 714-018Make sure that the applicable fan operates and that there is no air leakage from the flex hose connections.
(5) S 864-019Remove the electrical power, if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).
