Put the air cleaner adjacent to the housing.

Install the clamp and the flex hose on the air cleaner purge tube.

Tighten the clamp to 18 to 22 pound-inches.

EFIS COOLING FANS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the removal of the EFIS cooling fans. The second task is the installation of the EFIS cooling fans.
B. There are two fans for the EFIS cooling system in the E/E compartment. The two fans are immediately outboard of the E1 rack and the nose wheel well. One fan is referred to as the normal fan. The second fan is referred to as the alternate fan. The removal and the installation of the two fans are the same.
