(1)
Remove the bag from the water separator (AMM 21-51-41/401).

(2)
Examine the bag for oil or grease contamination.

(3)
Clean the bag if it has oil or grease contamination:
(a)
Put the bag fully in the cleaning solvent.
(b)
Carefully rub the bag where it has the contamination, then remove the bag from the solvent.

(4)
Put the bag in the washer with the water and the fabric detergent and wash the bag for one normal cycle.
S 287-005
(5)
If you used the cleaning solvent, make sure you can not smell any of the solvent.
(a) If you can smell any of the solvent, wash the bag for another cycle.
(6)
Install the bag (AMM 21-51-41/401).

35°F CONTROL VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. Each air cycle system has a 35°F control valve.
B. The removal/installation steps are almost the same for the left and the right valve.

2. Remove the 35°F Control Valve (Fig. 401)_____________________________

B. Procedure

(1)
Lower the applicable equipment bay door for the air conditioning.
S 034-001
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.
S 034-003
(3)
Disconnect the bonding jumper from the valve.
S 034-005
(4)
Remove the V-band clamps that hold the valve in place.
S 024-004
(5)
Remove the valve.
