Install a DC Voltmeter, set to measure 28 Volts DC, between Pin 1(+) and pin 2(-) of the D962 electrical connector.

 (e)  
Set the L PACK switch to the AUTO position. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows between 20 and 29 Volts DC.

 (f)  
Set the flaps to the FLAPS UP position.

 (g)  
Push in and hold the AIR SENSING TEST switch on the E11 Landing Gear Logic Shelf. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows less than 10 Volts DC.

 (h)  
Release the AIR SENSING TEST switch.

 (i)  
Set the L PACK switch to the OFF position.

 (j)  
Remove the Voltmeter from the D962 electrical connector.

 (k)  
Install the D962 electrical connector on the V18 L PACK VALVE.

 (7)  Do a test of the right pack flow mode relays:
 (a)  
Remove the D964 electrical connector from the V19 R PACK VALVE.

 (b)  
Install a DC Voltmeter, set to measure 28 Volts DC, between pin 1(+) and pin 2(-) of the D964 electrical connector.

 (c)  
Set the R PACK switch to the AUTO position.

 (d)  
Push in and hold the AIR SENSING TEST switch on the E11 Landing Gear Logic Shelf. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows less than 10 Volts DC.

 (e)  
Release the AIR SENSING TEST switch.

 (f)  
Set the flaps to the FLAPS POS 1 position. 1) Make sure the Voltmeter shows between 20 and 29 Volts DC.

 (g)  
Set the flaps to the FLAPS UP position.

 (h)  
Set the R PACK switch to the OFF position.

 (i)  
Remove the Voltmeter from the D964 electrical connector.

 (j)  
Install the D964 electrical connector on the V19 R PACK VALVE.

 (8)  Do a test of the pack overheat lights:
 (a)  Make sure these lights come ON when pushed in:
 1) PACK TRIP OFF (2 Places P5-10 Panel)
 2) DUCT OVERHEAT (2 Places on P5-17 Panel)

 (b)  
Set the MASTER DIM AND TEST (MD&T) to BRIGHT.

 1)  Make sure these lights stay OFF: a) PACK TRIP OFF (2 Places, P5-10 Panel) b) DUCT OVERHEAT (2 Places, P5-17 Panel)

 (c)  
Set the MD&T to DIM.

 1)  Make sure these lights remain OFF: a) PACK TRIP OFF (2 Places P5-10 Panel) b) DUCT OVERHEAT (2 Places P5-17 Panel)

 (d)  
Make sure these lights on the P7 Glareshield are OFF:
 1) AIR COND
 2) Master Caution

 (9)  Do a test of the left pack overheat relays:
 (a)  
Supply pneumatic power to the airplane (Ref 36-05-00/201).

 (b)  
Examine the duct pressure gauge on the P5-10 Panel.

 1)  Make sure bleed air is available to the two air-conditioning packs.

 (c)  
Set the L PACK switch to the AUTO position. 1) Make sure the left air-conditioning pack operates. 2) Make sure the left turbofan operates.

 (d)  
Set the CONT CABIN SWITCH on the P5-17 Panel to MANUAL.

 (e)  
Use the CONT CABIN SWITCH to slowly move the Control Cabin Air Mix Valve to the full-HOT position. 1) Make sure the CONT CABIN DUCT OVERHEAT light comes on at


 approximately 190°F (88°C).
 NOTE: If the duct temperature is increased too fast, the
____ duct overheat condition can occur at a temperature which is less than 190°F (88°C).
 2) Make sure the AIR COND light comes ON.
 3) Make sure the CONT CAB IND moves to the full-COLD position.
 4) Make sure that manual control of the Control Cabin Air Mix

 Valve is not possible.
 (f)  Push in and release the TRIP RESET switch.
 1)  Make sure these lights go OFF:
 a) DUCT OVERHEAT
 b) AIR COND (P7 Glareshield)

 NOTE: The lights will go OFF when the TRIP RESET
____ switch is pushed in and released only after the duct temperature decreases to a temperature less than 190°F (88°C).
 (g)  
Set the L PACK switch to the OFF position.

 (h)  
Disconnect the D532 electrical connector from the Left Compressor Discharge Overheat switch S2.
