 C. Install the Turbofan
 S 424-007
 (1)  Do the steps that follow to install the turbofan:
 (a)  
Make sure the forward V-clamp is on the ram air duct.

 (b)  
Put the turbofan into the correct position.

 (c)  
Install the inboard mounting bolt.

 (d)  
Turn the turbofan up.

 (e)  
Install the outboard mounting bolt.

 (f)  
Make sure the turbofan is aligned correctly with the edge of the duct.

 (g)  
If the turbofan is not aligned correctly, do this step: 1) Adjust the rods if it is necessary.

 (h)  
Install the V-clamp.

 (i)  
Make sure the clamps are attached loosely on the turbofan and the elbow.

 (j)  
Install the flexible duct.

 (k)  
Put the clamps in their positions on the flexible duct.

 (l)  
Tighten the clamps.

 (m)  
Install the turbine air duct.

 D. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
 S 614-010
 (1)  
Fill the turbofan with oil (Ref 12-13-61/301).

 S 794-008

 (2)  
Do these steps to do a check for leaks in the air conditioning system:

 (a)  
Start the air conditioning system (Ref 21-00-00/201).

 (b)  
Do a check for leaks at all joints and clamps.

 (c)  
Stop the air conditioning system (Ref 21-00-00/201).

 (3)  
Close the applicable A/C access panel 3304 or 3404.
