1. Water Spray Injector Removal (Fig. 401)____________________________

B. Prepare to Remove the Water Spray Injector
S 014-002
(1) Open the doors to the air conditioning bay to get access to the water spray injector.
C. Remove the Water Spray Injector

(1)
Disconnect the water line and the air line from the injector.
S 034-004
(2)
Remove the nut and washer which hold the injector to the ram air bulkhead.
(3)
Remove the injector.

C. Install the Water Spray Injector
S 434-007
(1)
Connect the injector to the water inlet line.
S 214-017
(2)
Make sure the injector aligns with the air inlet line and the opening of the ram air bulkhead.

Connect the injector to the air inlet line.

(4)
Put the injector through the opening in the ram air bulkhead.

(5)
Install the washer and the nut which hold the injector to the bulkhead.
D. Do a Test of the Water Spray Injector

(1)
Supply pneumatic pressure (Ref 36-05-00/201).
(2)
Put the PACK switch to HIGH on the P5-10 overhead panel.
(3)
Make sure that a spray of air and water comes out of the injector.

Put the PACK switch to OFF.

Remove the pneumatic pressure if it is not necessary (Ref 36-05-00/201).
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
