BLEED VALVE FUEL GEAR MOTOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure provides for the removal and installation of the bleed valve fuel gear motor.

 2.  Bleed Valve Fuel Gear Motor
___________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
It is not easy to get access to the mounting bolts for the fuel gear motor of the bleed valve.

 (2)  
Because of this, remove the stop mechanism of the bleed valve and the fuel gear motor as an assembly (AMM 75-32-02/401).

 (3)  
When the assembly is removed from the engine, the fuel gear motor can be moved apart from the stop mechanism.

 A.  The inspection of the variable bleed valve (VBV) fuel gear motor includes a check of the filter screens for contamination.
