(4)  S 034-005-C00If you must replace the feedback cable, remove the rod end bearing and jamnut. (a) Keep the rod end bearing and jamnut for the installation procedure.
 (5)  S 034-006-C00Loosen the nose cap and carefully move the conduit cap free from the slotted bracket.
 (6)  S 034-007-C00Disengage the cable from the loop clamps at the 6:30 o'clock position on the middle shroud of the fan frame.

 CAUTION: DO NOT DAMAGE OR REMOVE THE SEAL AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM SURFACES
_______ OF THE STRUT FAIRING. IF YOU CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TOP OR BOTTOM SEAL, LEAKAGE CAN OCCUR.
 (7)  
Remove the screws (15 locations) that attach each half of the 6 o'clock strut fairing and remove the strut fairing halves.

Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the cable flange to the 6 o'clock junction plate.

Remove the nut and bolt that attach the loop clamp to the bracket at the 6 o'clock strut.

 Remove the clamp from the cable.

 Remove the cable from the rubber packing block found at the


 6:30 o'clock position.

 (12) Remove the nuts and bolts that attach the loop clamps to the brackets at the 6:30 and 7 o'clock positions.
 (a)  The brackets are on the rear flange of the fan frame.

 (14) Disconnect the end of the VSV feedback cable from the MEC feedback arm as follows:
 (a)  
Remove the cotter pin from the nut.
 1) Discard the cotter pin.


 (b)  
Remove the nut, bolt and washer.

 Move the inner part of the cable to the fully retracted position at the MEC end.
